Therapists

Vanessa Jaunai, LPC, MS

Oftentimes, people either are unaware of symptoms that arise over time or are told to simply get over them. I offer people the opportunity to be themselves, while also giving them the responsibility to work towards realistic goals they set. I have a history of working with both youth and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment, relationship issues, psychiatric issues, child/ parenting issues, grief, mandated care and co-occurring disorders. Together, we can address those struggles and work towards a better tomorrow.

I truly enjoy helping others and social work has been my calling to allow me to do so. I look at everything from strengths perspective while using client centered therapy to help individuals achieve goals as an active participant in every aspect of their treatment. I have a master's degree in Social Work from Springfield College. I also have a minor in psychology and have studied trauma and mental illness. I obtained my LCSW in the state of Connecticut. I have been in the social work field for over a decade working with adults with addictions, the elderly, new parents on strengthening and understanding attachment, foster/adoptive parents, young adults with autism, the acquired brain injury population, and mother's struggling with depression and anxiety. The last 3 years I have been practicing clinically. Join me in building a client/therapist working relationship. I look forward to working with you.

Amanda Ramirez, MS, LPC

Taking the steps to find a therapist is such a courageous (and sometimes discouraging) task. I am glad that you have made it here. I believe in meeting you where you are today and supporting you to be the version of yourself that you want to be.

I have experience working with those suffering from drug/alcohol addiction, trauma/PTSD, court involvement, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I utilize an eclectic approach when working with clients because “one size does not fit all.” I offer a space where curiosity, humor and vulnerability are encouraged.

Therapy is meant to be collaborative, authentic, challenging and meaningful. You deserve a safe space to be and explore who you are, free of judgment or rejection. Together we can figure out ways to meet your needs and facilitate the change and healing that you desire. Let's explore your issues and the barriers that prevent you from reaching your goals.
